Porcupine

$3,700.00

A 32x36” mixed media acrylic painting over watercolor collage on heavy industrial carboard, unframed*. This one is about- like all of these, my research and a long standing passion into mythology, creation stories, symbols of culture, reflections of the Divine- and how it has been integrated in ritual. This painting in particular came from over the past winter reading a translation of Navajo creation stories over and over. Small creatures have a place as well as the big dramatic ones- often they are powerful because the small are unnoticed. Porcupine is a symbol and being of protection, ease, and determination, traveling between worlds to create new paths. Love
